Additional Information by joshzyber (1)   10/12/2002

The Twin Peaks Visual Soundtrack is like an elaborate music video. The show's entire soundtrack album is played over silent video footage shot by a Japanese TV crew visiting the Snoqualmie, WA locations where the series was shot.

Included in the jacket is a sheet of liner notes, mostly in Japanese, but with the lyrics to three songs in English.

Music composed by Angelo Badalamenti. Vocals by Julee Cruise on tracks marked *:

  1. Twin Peaks Theme
  2. Laura Palmer's Theme
  3. Audrey's Dance
  4. The Nightingale *
  5. Freshly Squeezed

  10. Love Theme from Twin Peaks

A now very sought after laserdisc as many Twin Peaks memorabilia "collectors" have this high up on their want-list - quite a few will now be owned by people without a laserdisc player. Also this was not pressed in large numbers so now all the harder to find. A number of "bootleg" DVDs are around & they do state that this laserdisc was the source material used but the quality is rather poor in comparison to the original laserdisc - it looks like a laserdisc to VHS copy then to DVD was used rather than straight laserdisc to DVD transfer.
