The picture of this laserdisc is in need of a full restoration. Upon close examination it does appear to have been made in part from the three strip Cinerama print. It is also a shame that there is no mention of the Cinerama process anywhere on the jacket other than a picture of a movie poster inside the gatefold jacket. At a recent screening of How the West was Won it was related that a copy of this film has been located and they are just awaiting funds for restoration. As this was only the second and final Cinerama production that was not a travel log, one would hope this piece of motion picture history would have received far better treatment.

That being said, the picture is still very good considering the source and worth owning if just for the reasons above.
