There is not much dialogue. Chapters 6 and 7 on side 2 have some, Japanese on digital tracks, english dub on analog tracks.

Some sequences apear to be open matte, others are cropped. Only the original Japanese credit sequence, at the end, is letterboxed to the theatrical aspect ratio, which appears to be about 1.78:1.

Note from rear jacket:

Each segment was produced as a separate short film and the sequence as it appears on this laserdisc differs from the original Japanese and American VHS home video releases. It has been approved by Kazufumi Nomura as the correct viewing sequence optimized for laserdisc.
